We offer three Technical Penguins subscription plans for those who want peace of mind, an updated website and full access to our white papers. Don’t use WordPress? We can still provide regular maintenance services! Just use the contact form below to get in touch with us and we can set up a custom plan.
For those considering a subscription, please note the following:
- We will need full access to your website in order to provide our services. This includes a WordPress administrator login as well as administrator login credentials for your hosting provider. (We will email you after you sign up to talk more in-depth with you and get this information.)
- We will ensure backups get taken of your site monthly; where possible, we will set these up through the backup service we use. If you’d like us to set up a different service (through your hosting provider or another service), you will be responsible for any fees this will entail. We only offer free restores from our service.
- When we update your site, we cannot guarantee compatibility between any combination of your theme, WordPress and plugins. If you want to check compatibility before updates, contact us about setting up a development site that will allow you access to a private site to check changes.
- For Penguin Pro plans, the included hour of work is for work done outside of the updates, backup and scanning. Any vulnerability mitigation or compatibility checking would count toward the hour. Hours do not roll over between months. In your first month of service, this hour is used to perform the required plugin and performance audit that will enable us to use the Penguin Pack on your site.
- Any discounts apply to regularly scheduled work only. No discounts apply for rush work.
- All subscriptions are month-to-month, for a minimum term of three months. If you request a cancellation within the first three months, your subscription will end following the third month.
Standard WordPress Maintenance Plan

Premium WordPress Maintenance and Security Plan
- We'll keep WordPress and your plugins up-to-date on a monthly basis.
- We will ensure your site is being comprehensively backed up monthly.
- Full access to and use of the Penguin Pack, a smorgasbord of services and add-ons that can enhance your website. Features include image optimization, security, SEO, newsletter opt-in forms, even selling courses! This can replace some existing services or plugins you already use, and we'll get everything set up for you.*
- Includes access to all our white papers, with members-only recommendations and tips.
- 10% discount off regular hourly rates for scheduled work performed.

Penguin Pro WordPress Maintenance and Security Plan

- 15% discount off regular hourly rates for scheduled work performed.

* Free setup only includes the setup of the new tools and services. If you need to migrate information from an existing tool or service (e.g., from a different membership plugin/program), that would incur an additional cost for the work at our (discounted!) hourly rate.
